The airline's attention to detail has been paying off recently, as it has won awards and gained recognition. The Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX) has rated the airline as a major four-star airline in 2025. This is the first airline rating program based solely on neutral, third-party feedback gathered through APEX's partnership with travel app TripIt. The ranking results from passenger ratings of almost one million flights across 600 airlines worldwide. Porter Airlines was joined by WestJet and Air Transat, who were also ranked four stars. Air Canada took home the biggest accolade and is the only Canadian airline with a five-star rating from APEX.
